My favorite part is: Sharpton, his voice rising, called the Confederate flag "America's swastika" Can't these people think of anything NEW to fight about? But the whole point I suppose is to engage in a bitter vitriolic fight over a non-issue. If you actually addressed a REAL issue you might look stupid. Better to rant and rave about abortion, confederate flags, death penalty, and other wholly meaningless issues.

Even I'm sick of the Confederate Flag nonsense. Actually I have been ever since Guidara pointed out that the Georgia flag with the Confederate emblem was adopted in 1957. If it had been the Georgia flag since Reconstruction, I'd say don't change it; but now I'd want to go back to the pre-'57 flag, myself.
