General

this blog.

Summary: Hey, this blog is now official.
This site has now been linked to by someone other than myself. I am a (fully/un/quasi/)official CSUA blogger. And what kind of blogger would i be if i didn't link back to the place that linked to me in an incestuous, googlephilic mass of backlinking. (oh yeah, the kind i am: not very good) But what the hell: http://www.csua.berkeley.edu/~brain/ Perhaps this will motivate me to actually post something of substance to this page every so often. but it won't.

I figured you were going to say it was officially a blog cause all you've done lately is post links. But then I read the previous post, where you quoted fed 46 instead of linking to it, which is very un-blog of you. So then I figured it was a blog because you did the goofy short-link csua.org thing. Whose time does that save again? Blogging license restored.

the point of the url shortener is to make it easier to cut and paste. Especially when viewing it from an email client. Now, in this case, (i assume you are talking about the sex worker article) it happens just to be in the form I GOT IT in, so the person who's time it saved was MINE. (at least it was, up till now :) I realize there's not much point to it on a website, but you aren't actually agin' url shortners in GENERAL are you? 'cause you're a nutty guy, but i'm going to have to find someone to deprogram some of that reactionary out of you if you are.

Trav will probably claim it's immoral to shorten links.
